Role: Marketing and Product Design
I handled the marketing for this event. It was the third year of Pabst and Tats and had changed venue to a new tattoo shop, Neon Tiger. I wanted to draw attention to Neon Tiger's location and proximity to Pk's. Knowing that Pk's was a long-running and well established venue while Neon Tiger was a fledgling having just opened, I wanted to leverage Pk's audience to help bolster Neon Tiger's. I created many reels showcasing the event and event logistics and included both businesses as co authors of the post to maximize reach.
The benefitting charity for this event was a non-profit that worked to increase food access in the region. I solicited tattoo artist, Emily Jones who had organized previous iterations of the event to choose this non-profit and do food themed tattoos. She came up with a bunch of amazing designs for the flash sheets and incorporated some her classic snoopy designs as well ad pabst themed designs.
We also wanted to add temporary tattoos to the mix for year. We created temporary tattoo packs using Emily's designs. I helmed the design and production of the tattoo packs. I wanted to keep the packaging design simple and give it a classic traditional tattoo aesthetic. For the product photos, I shot the tattoos on cut outs from an old book about food and wine. The boldness of the designs and white borders of the temporary tattoos pop off of muted and non-illustrative backgrounds.
The event was once again a hit. We ended up doubling the amount raised from the previous year and filling all of the spots at the tattoo shop. The tattooers even stayed late to fit in as many spots as possible.

The reel was paired with the theme from Cheers to play on the townie bar for locals vibe of Pk's.
